Eadweard Muybridge Flipbooks
These books have become something of a classic and I think I know why. In a simple flipbook, one can see the movement behind the still images of this father of motion pictures. His motion studies of the 1880's revolutionized both how we see human and animal locomotion as well as paving the way for the development of motion pictures.
We are now introducing a third edition of Muybridge flipbooks, which essentially reintroduces many of the favorites from the first edition of 1991. All ten books are available either in a single package or as part of the full set of ten, wrapped in a paper sleeve.
Our newest edition of six animal sequences was published December 2011.
Bactrian camel galloping
Man riding a horse
The titles from the previous 2005 edition are available as noted.
Man tipping hat
Woman skipping rope
Man walking O/S
Boys in leapfrog
Woman jumping off stairs
Horse jumping hurdle O/S
Cat galloping See new edition
Originally a full set of ten books from the 2005 edition, but only nine titles from it remain available.
Boys leapfrogging it out of stock.
Nine books shrinkwrapped at a reduced cost.
The title below is smaller with different cover style and does not include the little biographical booklet so it costs a bit less.
